Last played in 2003, two Presidents, two wars, eight years, and a huge fire latter disc golf returns to one of the most beloved venues in central Oregon.  Back by popular demand to the former home of the Deschutes Open, Scout Lake.  If you have never heard of the Deschutes Open or Scout lake you clearly have not been playing disc golf with those in the know!  Don’t let the short comings of others, keep you from becoming one of the luck few that have been experienced.

For one weekend only, one of Oregon's classic temporary courses and a long time Northwest Series favorite courses, will be set up for a fun, relaxed weekend of disc golf and camping in the scenic Central Oregon forest.  Everyone will be playing one round a day, 18 or 27 holes daily depending on how many of you register and how many baskets are available.  At least 18 temporary holes around beautiful Scout Lake will be setup for your enjoyment.  Why only one rounds a day, I am glad you asked, because it will leave time to swim in the lake, drink, smoke pot, hang out with friends, and fornicate.

The entire camp ground has been reserved by the tournament director, so if you want a place to pitch a tent, other than in your pants, you should probably talk to the  T.D..  Additionally, we need 18 to 27 portable baskets, this where the temporary part comes in and your active participation.  If you have a basket that you would be willing to loan said basket to the tournament for the duration and receive no compensation other than the thanks of your fellow golfers, please contact the T.D. and communicate you intention of bring you basket.  If you have a basket and don't want to be bothered to bring it, please stay home and fuck off!  We don't need your basket or your shitty attitude.  If you don’t have a basket, but have a good attitude and are looking for a good time this will be the second best thing you can do with your pants on.

This is a remote location, meaning you should bring everything you need for the weekend.  Sisters is the closest city, but it is about 20 miles away, you should plan on being self sufficient.  Bring good shoes, sun screen, and a jacket for the cool nights.  You only live once, don’t be one of those who wish they had played, be one of the ones who played.
